We accept most insurance, including Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, PHCS, Beechstreet, BlueCross BlueShield, Humana, Medicare, Medicaid to name a few. Call us to check if your plan is covered. We can find out your benefit coverage and let you know before your appointment. Many insurance companies also have out-of-network benefits.
Let's face it: Insurance companies are for-profit industries. We work with them as best as we can. It is important for patients to understand that insurance companies often do not cover cutting edge medical therapies or other effective therapies for various reasons, including cost-cutting. Covered services may lag current research by 10-15 years! Our recommendations do not always agree with managed care's "best for the masses" approach to quality and care. Mediocre health care is achieved with the help of insurance; superior health care usually requires some out of pocket expenses.
Discounts
We offer 10% discounts on bulk purchases of physical medicine, acupuncture, and weight management programs. We also offer "time-of-service" discounts for people that pay in full using cash, credit, or check and do not require insurance filling. Ask about student discounts as well.
